Adrenal Fatigue is a term used to describe a collection of symptoms that occur when the adrenal glands, which are responsible for producing essential hormones like cortisol and adrenaline, become overworked due to prolonged stress.
Individuals experiencing adrenal fatigue may report feeling constantly tired, having difficulty waking up in the morning, craving salty or sweet foods, and struggling to manage stress. While not an officially recognized medical diagnosis, these symptoms can often indicate underlying issues such as chronic stress, poor sleep, or hormonal imbalances.
Addressing adrenal fatigue typically involves lifestyle changes, including stress management, a balanced diet, regular exercise, and adequate rest to help restore the body’s natural energy balance and hormone function.
Depression is more than sadness — it is a whole-body condition that affects mood, motivation, energy, sleep, physical health, and how you feel day to day. Depression can make life feel heavy, overwhelming, or flat. Activities you once enjoyed may feel exhausting. Thoughts may feel slower, hope may feel out of reach, and even simple tasks can feel difficult.
Depression is not a character flaw, weakness, or lack of willpower. It is a physiological and emotional response involving the brain, nervous system, hormones, stress chemistry, sleep cycles, and inflammation. It can develop gradually or appear suddenly in response to stress, loss, or change.
At First Call DPC, we approach depression with compassion, understanding, and clinical precision. Your experience matters. Your story matters. And your brain and body deserve support — not judgment.
Low libido refers to a decrease in sexual desire, interest, or drive, either suddenly or gradually over time. It can affect men and women, at any age. While it’s common to experience fluctuations in desire due to stress or life changes, persistent low libido can feel confusing, frustrating, or even isolating — especially when it affects confidence, intimacy, or connection with a partner.
Low libido is not a personal flaw and it is not something you have to “push through.” Desire is influenced by hormones, stress levels, nervous system regulation, relationship dynamics, emotional energy, and physical health. When something is out of balance in any of those systems, sexual desire naturally shifts.
At First Call DPC, we approach low libido with respect and clarity — because your sexual well-being is an important part of your overall physical, emotional, and relational health. And with the right evaluation and support, desire can return.
Mood swings refer to noticeable shifts in emotional state — moving from calm to irritable, energized to drained, or motivated to disengaged more quickly than usual. While everyone experiences emotional changes from time to time, frequent or intense mood swings can begin to interfere with daily life, relationships, confidence, or work.
Mood swings are not just “emotional sensitivity” or a lack of self-control. They are often the result of biochemical, hormonal, neurological, and metabolic changes happening beneath the surface. Your emotions are not separate from your body. They are signals — telling you something needs care, support, or rebalancing.
At First Call DPC, we treat mood swings with both empathy and clinical clarity. Our goal is to help you understand why you feel this way — and to restore stability, confidence, and emotional steadiness so you can feel like yourself again.
Menopause is a natural biological transition that marks the end of a woman’s reproductive years. It is officially defined as the point when you have gone 12 consecutive months without a menstrual cycle, but the changes leading up to menopause — known as perimenopause — can begin years earlier. During this time, levels of estrogen, progesterone, and other hormones fluctuate and gradually decline.
Menopause is not a disease — it is a normal life transition. However, the symptoms it brings can significantly impact daily functioning, emotional wellbeing, and overall quality of life.
At First Call DPC, we approach menopause with respect, clarity, and compassion. Your symptoms are real. Your experience matters. And this phase of life can be one of renewal, strength, and deeper self-understanding — when you receive the right support.
Low Testosterone (Low T) occurs when the body’s natural hormone production begins to decline—often due to stress, aging, sleep disruption, metabolic issues, or chronic health imbalances. Men experiencing Low T may notice decreases in energy, muscle strength, motivation, libido, and overall vitality.
Common symptoms include fatigue, weight gain (especially around the midsection), decreased sexual performance, mood changes, difficulty building muscle, and slowed recovery after exercise.
At First Call DPC, we use advanced hormone testing to identify the root cause of your imbalance. Your personalized treatment plan may include optimized testosterone therapy, peptide support, targeted supplementation, and lifestyle strategies to restore strength, drive, and long-term health.
Weight gain occurs when the body begins storing more energy than it uses — but the reasons behind that change are often far more complex than “eating more and moving less.” Weight is influenced by hormones, sleep, metabolism, stress response, gut health, inflammation, and nervous system regulation. When one or more of these systems becomes imbalanced, the body may begin holding onto weight — even when you’re dieting, exercising, or “doing everything right.”
At First Call DPC, we approach weight gain with the understanding that your biology, lifestyle, and lived experience shape your health. Weight gain is not a personal failure. It is a signal from the body that something in your metabolic or hormonal system needs support, rebalancing, or recovery.
We help you identify what your body is asking for — and then guide you toward restoring metabolic stability, energy, confidence, and long-term wellness.
Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurobiological condition that affects focus, impulsivity, motivation, and executive function. Adults with ADHD may struggle with disorganization, inconsistent productivity, difficulty prioritizing tasks, restlessness, and mental fatigue.
Many patients go years without a proper diagnosis—mistaking symptoms for anxiety, stress, or “being overwhelmed.” Our providers take a functional, whole-person approach by assessing medical history, lifestyle, sleep, nutrient levels, and brain chemistry for a complete picture.
Treatment may include a personalized combination of medication management, behavioral strategies, nutritional support, peptide therapy, and lifestyle modifications to improve cognitive clarity, focus, and day-to-day performance.
We can keep telling you why First Call DPC is the future of medicine but it’s probably best if you hear it from our raving fans instead.

Your questions matter. At First Call DPC, we believe in transparency, clarity, and partnership. Here are answers to the questions we hear most often — because when you’re informed, you’re empowered.
At First Call DPC we operate on a membership model and do not bill insurance for our primary care visits. Your monthly membership covers those services. We encourage you to keep health insurance for coverage of medications, specialist care, surgeries, and hospital stays.
Yes — it’s wise to maintain a health insurance plan. Our membership covers unlimited primary-care access, but insurance is still important for things like specialist referrals, hospital care, advanced imaging, or surgeries. Think of your membership as your proactive everyday care plus access — insurance covers the “what if” events.
Absolutely. We partner with major lab networks and imaging services. If your physician determines these are needed, they’ll place orders electronically, and results will flow into your secure patient portal for review and follow-up. You get full continuity of care, with no delays.
Yes. Your membership at First Call DPC supports and integrates the care you’re already receiving. We’ll coordinate with your specialists, review their recommendations, and keep your records centralized. Our goal is seamless care — no gaps, no confusion.
Possibly. The eligibility of your membership fee for HSA/FSA depends on your employer plan and how it treats membership-based care. We provide detailed annual billing statements and are happy to assist you in reviewing your reimbursement options. You’ll want to check with your benefits administrator for specifics.
If you’re facing a medical emergency — such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, sudden paralysis, or other urgent signs — you should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. That said, because you have direct access to your physician at First Call DPC, we’ll support you in navigating urgent needs, and we can coordinate with ER teams when needed. For non-emergency urgent concerns (fever, infection, acute pain), message or call us and we’ll help you arrange the right next steps.
Joining is simple.
Very different — and better. At First Call DPC your doctor isn’t just someone you see once a year in a 10-minute slot. They know your name, your goals, your challenges. You can message them. You can schedule follow-ups easily. You are a partner in your care. Together, we focus on prevention, optimization, and longevity — not just reacting to symptoms.
Your monthly membership covers your unlimited primary care visits (in-office or virtual), direct physician messaging, annual labs and wellness review, lifestyle planning, and access to modern therapies per plan specifications. There are no surprise co-pays for standard visits. If advanced treatments (imaging, hospital stay, specialist surgeries) are needed, they may fall outside the membership model and involve separate insurance or billing. We’ll always explain this clearly.
If you have other questions or want to dive deeper into any specific area — we’re here for you. Feel free to reach out and let’s make sure you have the clarity you deserve.
